The aurora blue pigment is an iridescent powder that can be added to clear resin or tinted resin in any color.
It makes the cast appear with the iridescent second color of your pigments.
Works best in transparent resin which is clear or tinted.
See the comparison in the additional pictures in the gallery. There’s an example with blue tinted resin mixed with the 5 different pigments that shows you how different the pigments let your cast appear even with the same base tint.
The other comparison shows you how the pigments look like in crystal clear resin and with black tinted resin.
Pigments are an easy way to add metallic, glitter and color effects to your castings.
Mix them with your resin or brush your mold with pigments to get a nice finish for your projects.
Some of the pigments are best used in transparent resin while others are best used to be brushed in a mold.
My collection of personal pigments and powders is now available for your own use!
All pigments are selected carefully and tested through many projects and those who did well are now an integral part of my work.
The pigments come in a 2 g or 10 g container.
2 g are suitable for test castings and small project while 10 g
are perfect for frequent users and bigger projects. They last for a long time!
